Eight Stretches to Incorporate into Your Summer Routine

Over the past several years, at-home exercise has boomed. The pandemic largely contributed, as people sought to stay active and healthy despite limited access to gyms, being unable to meet up with exercise buddies, or the reality that sometimes factors weren’t lining up- limited access to outdoor space, little to no equipment, weather didn’t always allow, and potentially just not knowing where to start. The timing was ripe for fitness instructors, exercise enthusiasts and novices alike to start sharing and moving. . .and getting it all online. Now, there is no lack of fitness information, instruction, and even support communities online, making it especially easy to stay fit within the four walls of your home.

The current reality is that it is already very hot. If you aren’t exercising indoors or getting outside very early in the morning, the risk of dehydration, heat exhaustion or heat stroke are high.

Today we’re sharing eight of our favorite seated stretches, along with our post on the benefit of low-impact exercises. Most don’t require much, if any, equipment.
